work through the tears

Heyy Ber!
We all have ups and downs. Sometimes when you're at a low, feeling blue,
the last thing you want to do is go work out. *sigh*
But that's actually exactly what you need!

Exercise releases endorphins that ease depression. It can bring a sense of clarity to your thoughts and can even bring on euphoria (a "runers high").
It can help as a distractions from your blues, stop the cycle of negative thinking.
And bonus points for exercising outside! Being in nature can boost mood
while sunlight and vitamin D are also known to have a positive effect.

So when you are depressed and laying in bed, on the couch, whatever-
just know that you are one work out away from a good mood.
Just start with light stretching. Thats all. If thats feeling good, go ahead and go for a walk, a jog, do some yoga or pilates. Stop when you want. But just get started.
